The trip through the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez) began July 2 at the port of Guaymas, on the Mexican mainland, approximately at the midpoint of the east coast of the Gulf, and ended July 8 at the port of La Paz, near the southern tip of Baja California. On July 9 we travelled by road south to the airport at Los Cabos, at the extreme southern tip of the peninsula, to fly back the the United States. Pages are in chronological order.
