Lengde

I am pretty sure that this beautiful village, on the road north from Kaili toward Leishan, was Lengde. If not, it was close to Lengde.

The fields down in the valley were beautifully terraced.

But on the hill high above, the people were farming steeply sloped land without terracing it. The danger of serious erosion was obvious.
