We got off our ship at La Paz, a port on the west coast of the Gulf of California (east coast of Baja California), fairly close to the southern end of the peninsula. We travelled by bus southwest from La Paz, crossing the peninsula to the Pacific, and then went south, passing through Cabo San Lucas at the extreme southern end of the peninsula, to get to the Los Cabos Airport.
